— About NSH
Next Shift Hockey Advisory (NSH) is a premier hockey mentoring and advisory service dedicated to helping players and their families navigate every stage of their hockey journey. From junior hockey decisions to college opportunities and professional careers, NSH provides personalized guidance rooted in real-world experience — not theory. We offer one-on-one video analysis sessions, mentorship programs, and comprehensive development planning tailored to each player's unique goals, strengths, and circumstances.
Our services are built for dedicated hockey players — from teenagers chasing junior and college dreams to young professionals navigating the next step in their careers — as well as the parents, families, and coaches who support them. Whether a player is deciding between teams, preparing for a tryout, or seeking to elevate their hockey IQ, NSH offers the individualized attention that general coaching programs can't provide.
NSH was founded and is led by Nikita Krivokrasov, a former professional hockey player who competed in the WHL with the Prince Albert Raiders, the USHL with the Sioux City Musketeers, and professionally in Finland's SM-liiga with Mikkelin Jukurit. Having lived through the challenges of the hockey pathway firsthand, Nikita built NSH to provide the guidance he wishes he had during his own playing career — combining on-ice film study with off-ice decision-making support to help players make confident, informed choices about their future.

— About Me
I'm a hockey mentor and advisor who helps players and families make confident decisions throughout their hockey journey. Having gone through the junior and professional ranks myself, I understand the challenges that come with pursuing the next level.
I played in the WHL with the Prince Albert Raiders, the USHL with the Sioux City Musketeers, and professionally with Mikkelin Jukurit in Finland's SM-liiga (now Liiga), one of Europe's top professional hockey leagues.
"Like every player, I faced difficult decisions, setbacks, coaching changes, injuries, and the uncertainty that comes with chasing a career in the game. Those experiences taught me that talent alone isn't enough. The choices players make throughout their careers can have just as much impact as what they do on the ice."
When I mentor a player, I don't just hand out advice — I sit down with them, break down their film, and help them build a real hockey IQ. We study positioning, decisions, and habits together so they start seeing the game the way I learned to see it. Just as importantly, I help them navigate the choices that happen off the ice — the ones that shape a career just as much as any shift.
Today, I work one-on-one with players and their families to help them make informed decisions about development, team selection, junior hockey, college opportunities, professional hockey, and long-term planning. My advice comes from experience—not theory.
